Well, Nashville — this one came out of left field.

E3 Chophouse, the Hillsboro Village steakhouse co-owned by country heavyweights Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean alongside former MLB player Adam LaRoche, has officially hit the brakes. The restaurant quietly closed following Valentine’s Day weekend, leaving its prime corner suddenly a little less sizzly.

According to a notice posted on the restaurant’s website, the closure is being framed as a temporary pause while the team figures out what comes next.

“We’re temporarily pausing operations as we evaluate what Nashville needs next,” the message reads.

The group says it’s currently exploring market opportunities and potential rebrand or re-concept plans for the space — which, in restaurant-speak, usually means the crystal ball is very much out on the table.

The Tennessean first reported the abrupt shutdown, noting that social media chatter suggested the move caught some employees off guard. In a statement shared with the outlet, the restaurant’s general manager pointed to rising operational pressures — including climbing property taxes and regulatory costs — as key factors behind the decision.

For now, the future of the Hillsboro Village spot remains a bit of a mystery wrapped in a steakhouse napkin. Whether E3 returns in a new form or the space gets a full remix, Nashville’s dining scene will be watching.
