Nashville is a weird, wonderful, constantly changing place, and there’s always something worth talking about.

That’s what this site is here for.

We’re interested in the restaurants, bars, shops, music, events, people, oddities, hidden gems and everyday happenings that make Nashville an interesting place to live. Sometimes that means checking out a brand-new restaurant. Other times, it means celebrating a neighborhood institution that’s been quietly doing its thing for 50 years. And sometimes, we just stumble across something strange and think, “Well, people need to know about this.”

The goal is pretty simple: to create a fun, useful place for people who actually live here, while giving anyone visiting Nashville a look at the city beyond the usual greatest hits.

We like personality. We like local stories. We like supporting the people doing cool things around town. And we definitely don’t believe every article needs to take itself too seriously.

Nashville has enough stories to keep us busy for a long, long time. We’re just here to tell some of them.
