Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach met as colleagues at Bodega Catena Zapata — Alejandro as Vineyard Director\, Jeff as Wine Education Director — and spent over a decade studying Mendoza’s terroir together\, block by block. That shared obsession became TintoNero: a portfolio built to isolate and showcase the specific vineyard sites where Malbec reaches its fullest expression\, from the easy-drinking style of Luján de Cuyo to the concentrated\, complex character of high-altitude sites like Paraje Altamira and Uco Valley. This isn’t just Malbec. It’s a map of Mendoza\, told one vineyard at a time. \n \nMeet Your Host: Jeff Mausbach\, Co-Owner & Wine Director \n \nJeff’s path to Argentina started with a chance encounter — backpacking through Europe in 1991\, he met his future wife Veronica in a small pensione in front of the Vatican. The romance eventually pulled him from a sommelier gig in Chicago to Buenos Aires in 1996\, where wine legend Nicolás Catena personally recruited him to build Catena Zapata’s export division. Over the next 13 years as the winery’s Wine Education Director\, Jeff traveled the world making the case for high-altitude Mendoza Malbec — expertise that became the foundation for TintoNero\, the label he later co-founded with longtime Catena colleague Alejandro Sejanovich. Join us August 27th for a rare chance to taste his wines poured by the man himself. \n\n\nParking: Due to limited spacing\, we ask that you please do not park in the lot directly in front of Corkdorks’ store. Instead\, you are welcome to park in either the lot beside the Corkdorks front lot\, or in any open spot on the street. These parking options are free for attendees. Thank you for your cooperation. \nAll attendees will receive a $20 gift card to Corkdorks. \nWe do not charge a fee to attend or participate in any of our classroom events. However\, because of the tremendous demand for our events\, and because seating in our classroom is limited\, we charge a nominal prepaid reservation fee to hold your place in the classroom. The amount of the reservation fee varies depending on the size\, duration\, and content of the event\, but is non-refundable if you are unable to attend the event for any reason. If you prepay the reservation fee and attend the event\, you will receive a Gift Card in an amount equal to the prepaid reservation fee\, which can be redeemed for cash any time after the event or used to purchase merchandise in the store. No refunds. No Exceptions.

SUMMARY:OUR LADY OF GUDALUPE WINE DINNER!
DESCRIPTION:5 Course Dinner with wines featured from Dave Phinney Wines\n\n\nOur Lady of Guadalupe Wine Dinner \nHosted by Trevor Hogue\, Vice President of Dave Phinney Wines \nOctober 1\, 2026 | 6:30 PM \nBlue Aster Restaurant | Nashville\, Tennessee \nJoin us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe Wines\, the deeply personal estate project of renowned winemaker Dave Phinney. \nHosted by Trevor Hogue\, Vice President of Sales for Dave Phinney Wines\, this exclusive dinner offers guests the opportunity to explore the wines\, the vineyard\, and the remarkable story behind one of California’s most exciting wine estates. \nThe evening will feature a five-course chef-curated menu by Executive Chef Andrew Rodriguez\, thoughtfully paired with a selection of Our Lady of Guadalupe wines to showcase the unique character\, elegance\, and craftsmanship of each vintage. \nDave Phinney began his wine career at Robert Mondavi Winery before founding Orin Swift Cellars in 1998. There\, he created some of the wine world’s most recognized labels\, including The Prisoner\, helping redefine modern American winemaking through innovation\, creativity\, and uncompromising quality. \nAfter building acclaimed wine brands throughout the United States and France\, Dave turned his attention to a project unlike any other in his career—Our Lady of Guadalupe Vineyard. \nSituated on the rugged western edge of California’s renowned Sta. Rita Hills\, the vineyard was transformed from an abandoned row-crop farm into a world-class wine estate through years of restoration\, sustainable farming\, and meticulous attention to detail. Today\, the property produces exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that capture the unique character of this extraordinary terroir. \nWhat makes Our Lady of Guadalupe especially significant is that it is the only American vineyard owned by Dave Phinney where he personally oversees the wines from vineyard to bottle. Named in honor of the dedicated vineyard team who brought the vision to life\, the estate reflects Dave’s passion\, craftsmanship\, and commitment to excellence. \nThroughout the evening\, Trevor will guide guests through a curated tasting experience while sharing stories from Dave’s journey—from his early days at Robert Mondavi and the creation of Orin Swift to the development of Our Lady of Guadalupe and its place among California’s premier wine estates. \nEnjoy an intimate evening of exceptional wines\, inspired cuisine\, and engaging storytelling as we celebrate one of California’s most exciting vineyard estates. \nLimited Seating Available

The following year\, they signed with Arista Nashville\, and in 1991\, with the release of “Meet in The Middle\,” became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single. The band is also known for their multi-week chart-topper “How Your Love Makes Me Feel\,” crossover hit “One More Day\,” as well as timeless hits “Beautiful Mess\,” “Unbelievable\,” “I Believe\,” and many more. \nSelling more than 6.8 million albums and surpassing over 1.05 billion global streams\, Diamond Rio has charted 20 Top 10 singles\, 15 Top 5 singles\, and seven No. 1 singles. Known for playing every note on every album throughout their career\, the band’s unwavering commitment to their craft is evident in their instrumental tracks “Big\,” “Appalachian Dream\,” and “Poultry Promenade\,” all of which received Grammy nominations for Best Country Instrumental Performance. Following their Arista Nashville deal\, the band released two albums with Word Records – their Christmas album\, The Star Still Shines\, and their Dove and Grammy-winning Christian Country album\, The Reason. \nAmassing numerous accolades throughout the years\, the band is a member of the Grand Ole Opry\,won six Vocal Group of the Year Awards (four CMA and two ACM)\, received fourteen Grammy nominations\, and won a Grammy Award for their album\, The Reason. Known for their charitable commitments\, including long-time spokespersons for Big Brothers Big Sisters\, the band has raised more than $1 million for non-profits and received the Minnie Pearl Humanitarian Award. \nFor more information\, visitwww.DiamondRio.com. \nFollow Diamond Rio: \nFacebook: @DiamondRio \nInstagram/Twitter/TikTok: @DiamondRioBand \nYouTube: @DiamondRioTV \n \n\n\n\nJESSE KEITH WHITLEY\nJesse Keith Whitley has generations of country music pumping through his veins. The son of Lorrie Morgan and the late Keith Whitley\, and grandson of Grand Ole Opry legend George Morgan\, Jesse was born with the gift of singing and songwriting. At age 23\, Jesse has launched into his own career by signing with Octabrook Entertainment for touring and recording projects. \nHis debut EP\, Kentucky Thunder (produced by James Stroud) includes the rockin’ country title cut\, a poignant cover of his father’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes”—with back-up vocals courtesy of Mom!—and “Can’t Drive You From My Mind” which Jesse co-wrote with Jon Randall (“Whiskey Lullaby”). \nJesse has toured with his mother\, playing popular venues in the Nashville area and all across the country. His performances have driven packed houses to their feet as he delivers his own brand of country\, a mix of heartfelt ballads\, southern rock and hard drivin’ country. \nHe may have sprung from music legends\, but Jesse is no “re-run.” Kentucky Thunder provides the different sides of Jesse Keith and his music. He embraces his traditional country roots and includes a pleasing mix of outlaw country\, rough and raw southern rock\, and a tender side as well. \n“I know I have big shoes to fill\,” Jesse says\, “but I want to do it my own way. I am so grateful that my name has opened doors\, but I plan to earn the right to stay inside those doors.” \nIt is clear that Jesse Keith Whitley is eager to craft his own distinctive style as both a singer and songwriter while still tipping his hat to tradition. This third generation singer/songwriter is here to work and here to stay. \n \n\n\n\nERIC BLANKENSHIP\nMusic his been a part of Eric Blankenship’s life since he was a boy. At 12 years old he won a vocal contest and knew that singing and performing were going to be a part of his life forever. As a young adult\, he made a living as an entertainer in his home state of Texas. Achieving what he set out to do\, he aimed his sights on Nashville\, with one big dream… He KNEW he was going to be successful in the music business and in 1992\, he put the wheels in motion and made the pilgrimage to Tennessee. \nWhile he was navigating the music business\, Eric started driving tour buses to make some extra money. That decision has helped him achieve more success than he ever imagined ‘in the business’ just not in the way he envisioned. With his savvy mechanical partner\, Eric started All Access Coach Leasing in 2002\, which now leases buses to A List country artists and celebrities that tour across the United States. These ‘homes on wheels’ are some of the best in the business\, carrying the hottest stars to the most amazing venues in the country. \nHis love for singing and music has only grown. Eight years ago Eric started singing on the praise and worship team for a large church in Gallatin\, Tennessee. In 2015 Eric decided that he was going to record a traditional country album\, in the way he wanted to do it\, with the songs that he wanted to cut. With a deep love of music of all kinds\, country speaks to his heart and his early love of meaningful songs. Rollin’ With the Flow is more than just a way to deal with the twists and turns life throws at you. This album completes the loop of a long journey from Texas to Nashville\, with a few detours along the road. \n\n\n\nJULIANNA RANKIN\nRaised on classic country and the blues\, Julianna Rankin finds herself influenced by a spectrum of artists ranging from Keith Whitley\, Bobbie Gentry and Waylon Jennings to Bonnie Raitt\, Carole King and James Taylor. Her journey into the industry began in 2018\, when she took a headfirst dive towards discovering her artistry while attending Texas A&M University. Since then\, Julianna has made her home in New Braunfels\, TX\, to which she credits a strong circle of talented musicians and local collaboration for recent successes. In the past year\, the young singer-songwriter has found herself opening for artists such as Robert Earl Keen\, Stoney LaRue\, Randall King\, Django Walker\, Adam Hood\, Jason Eady\, William Beckmann\, Midnight River Choir and more. With her strong vocals and soul-penetrating lyrics\, Julianna demands attention from the growing audiences that are lucky enough to catch her sets. \n \n\n\n\nTIM WATSON\nThe high energy music of Tim Watson has been heard from stages around the world. His musical career has grown from performances in clubs near his home in Black Creek\, Alabama to the Grand Ole Opry and venues in Germany\, Switzerland\, France\, England\, Ireland\, Scotland\, Bahamas\, Mexico\, Canada\, and Holland. \nIn 1985\, Tim became a featured performer at the Opryland Show park\, then in 1987 Tim went to work with the “First Lady of Country Music”\, Tammy Wynette where he was a featured vocalist and fiddler. Tim has also played and sang with Travis Tritt\, Randy Travis\, Jamey Johnson\, Dennis Quaid\, Tanya Tucker\, Jon Pardi\, Gretchen Wilson\, Lee Brice\, Larry Gatlin\, Jeannie C. Riley\, Yelawolf\, Vern Gosdin\, Jeannie Seely\, David Allan Coe\, and Willie Nelson. Tim has opened shows for many superstars like George Strait\, Ricky Skaggs\, George Jones\, Lonestar\, Keith Urban\, Conway Twitty\, Ronnie Milsap\, The Judds\, and K.T. Oslin just to name a few. Recently\, he has been working with his neighbor\, Kid Rock. Tim Watson is currently touring stadiums and arenas with the PBR Team Series. \n\n\n\nDJ CLIFFY D
